Free Audiobook–January

christianaudio.com has offered us a real gem this month for free with the classic book by J.I. Packer called Knowing God. Considered by many to be one of the best books out of the 20th century and probably the best known of the writings of Packer, this is an great opportunity.

Also considering the subject addressed, namely, that of knowing God, its well worth reading/ listening. I could truthfully say that, without knowing God and being known by Him, no-one would go to heaven. So take the time to download this classic.

Also, if you live near me, I am prepared to download this classic for you. I know that internet is precious and slow in South Africa, so if you’d prefer, I’ll do the downloading bit. Another Free Audiobook

John Piper just tweeted that another of his books this month is being offered by christianaudio.com. Let The Nations Be Glad is one of his most well known books and one of the best contemporary works on the subjects of missions. I have read (or rather listened) to this one already, it really is excellent.

I was very excited to see that this month’s free audiobook from christianaudio.com, was Tim Challies’ new book The Next Story

I have started to listen to it and have enjoyed what I’ve heard so far. The premise of the book is living with faith during our digital and technologically advanced world.

This month’s free audiobook is The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges. I have not read this book before but it is considered to be a classic on the subject of holiness. I believe this would be well worth they download (specially because its free this month only.
